Now you see it |
This is the Pyramid in Paris by I. M. Pei which I took on my last visit in 2014. JR, an artist best known for his works, Portraits of a Generation and Women are Heroes, has made the Pyramid disappear as only a magician can.
Now you don't |
The image above is reposted from JR's Twitter account. JR, in the article on the Wall Street Journal has this to day about this art installation, “I always seek to attract people’s attention toward something, generally other people. Here, it is the absence of something that will make people bond,” said JR. “When arriving to the Louvre, people will all notice the absence and that will make them talk to each other and seek the right angle.” For more on this story check out this article from Wall Street Journal.
The Pyramid will stay hidden until June 28, 2016
