I recently had the opportunity to stay at this Napcab at Munich International Airport. After a nine-hour trip from the United States, I was faced wih a long layover in Munich (I arrived at 8 a.m. and my connection flight was at 9:45 p.m.). I really needed a bed to stretch my back for at least a couple of hours. This napcab is located near the arrivals and Service Center areas at Terminal 2. It is outside the security checkpoints.
Making the reservation was easy to do. The monitor outside the Napcab will walk you through the steps to enter the cabin. You’ll need a credit card and your phone to get the passcode to gain entry to the room. Once you’re in the cabin, you can lower the blinds for privacy. The room is clean and has plenty of space for your luggage. There’s a desk and outlets if you need to charge your devices. The bed accommodates one. I understand that there are cabins now that have a double bed.
You can set the alarm for your preferred wake up time using this screen in front of the bed. You can also set up the lighting mood or turn it off as you please and if you wish to adjust the temperature in the cabin, the thermostat for air cooling/heating is right by the door.
After you have booked the cabin for the specified time, the monitor will show “occupied”. No once else will be able to use it until your time is up. If you need to go out to buy food or go to the restroom, you can leave the room but don’t forget your password so you can re-enter the cabin. When I stayed here in May 2025, the rate was €17.00 per hour. Rates vary depending on the time of day you use the cabin.
